Meet Michael Magotiaux! His passion for animals began at a young age growing up on a farm in Redvers, SK. In 1977 Mike and his wife Gerry, who some of you may know as the longtime owner of Medicine Hat Liberty Tax Service, settled in Medicine Hat and decided to start their family. Twenty years later they opened Petland and never looked back. In May of 2019 they proudly celebrated 22 years of owning their Petland franchise! Aside from Petland, Mike has been heavily involved in the community over the years, doing everything from being a member of the Kinsmen, coaching kids softball, and being a scouts leader. His two daughters, following the footsteps of their parents, are also young business owners in the Hat! One owning Advanced Occupational Therapy, and the other Gas City Crossfit. Mike and Gerry are also the proud grandparents of 5 beautiful grandchildren
